The Siemens CX70 - Smartphone 

The phone will be available in the UK from the second quarter of 2004, at a price yet to be announced.

The CX70 offers the ultimate in multimedia messaging, allowing you to capture both sound and moving images. Using the integrated VGA video camera, you can take pictures and video, and then display them in vivid colour on the extra-large screen. Thanks to an attachable flash, which offers red-eye reduction, you can also capture images when you’re on a night out.

The CX70 combines technology with simplicity; Java means you can personalise your phone with downloadable material, a joystick makes gaming more engaging, and e-mail means you can check your inbox and send messages while on the move. For ease, the CX70 also offers an animated download assistant – a virtual friend that helps you download ring tones, logos or games from the Siemens website.

The CX70 comes with a wide range of Siemens Original Accessories, including a variety of fashionable fascias, a clip-on flash camera with red eye reduction, a headset, various chargers and data cables, an extra battery and a practical Tour Case. In addition, there is a range of in-car solutions including a Car Kit Easy and a flexible Car Kit Portable, which conform to the new legislation with reference to driving while using a mobile phone.
